This view is looking up the Nidderdale valley towards the dam at Scar House Reservoir in Yorkshire. The trees created a little window to see up to the dam.
This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. 2 coats of satin varnish are added for protection.
