Mother and daughter in a landscape, wash painting on old paper. 28 x 18 cm
On a thick old yellowed paper, a woman and her daughter in a lake landscape with wooded banks worked in a watercolour spirit, with diluted and melted acrylic. The characters are sketched in pencil and bleached with diluted acrylic, pencil highlights suggest lace. The spirit is resolutely retro and romantic, like distant characters in the English countryside, inspired by the Bronte sisters.
Acrylic, pencil, 28 x 18 cm format. The work is unframed to allow you to choose the best frame according to your wishes.
