- A Sudden Squall at Sea
Original artwork description
This is an abstract oil painting on aluminium panel evoking a sudden squall at sea. The metal surface allows for extremely free and loose brush work, almost as in Japanese Sumi-e paintings. I have used exceptionally high quality Old Holland oil paints and mediums on a fully-archival and acid free aluminium panel. Light reflects off the panel and the paint layers meaning that the piece seems to be alive. The panel is 30cm x 30 cm x0.3 cm and is extremely sturdy and will not bend so can be propped up on a sideboard, for example or framed.
The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be packaged following best-practice guidelines (Please see Me at Work for a description of the packaging process) and despatched by fully tracked, insured signed-for courier.
