Summer streets of Provence. What could be more interesting and exciting for a traveler? And even more so for an artist. The beautiful, old streets of small Provencal villages are like colored carpets. There is a constant roll call of light and shadow . The painting depicts a colorful, vibrant street scene in a city with an impressionistic style. The brushstrokes are thick and textured, creating a dynamic, almost three-dimensional effect. The street curves in a winding path, and the buildings are tall with rich, contrasting colors, including reds, blues, and yellows. There are signs for a café and other local businesses, which add to the lively atmosphere. The use of bright, bold colors, such as the multicolored pavement, gives the scene an energetic and almost whimsical feeling, while the soft blue sky in the background adds a sense of calmness to the lively environment. The painting seems to capture the spirit of a bustling, charming city street.

This artwork is made by traditional technology. Oil paints, canvas and linseed oil. I love to write etudes from life in a bright impressionistic manner. Small colorful strokes form a rainbow palette. I will try to convey the movement of air masses and the difference between illuminated and shady places.
