This painting pays tribute to and acknowledges the Australia’s First People throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community.
A stone thrown into the water makes beautiful ripples, or capillary waves, that reach distances much further than the stone itself. This painting serves to remind you that your dreams are only 'A stones throw' away and could take you much further than you ever imagined. Circles often symbolise harmony and unity.
