Most days during lockdown in Edinburgh in 2020 I took a walk in Inverleith Park, Edinburgh. This is a view of a solitary man walking along a path there lined with trees. It's a self portrait, at least that's how I mean it to be. This painting will always remind me of that time, though at the time of listing this, a second lockdown has started.
I've kept things fairly minimal here. Just the shape of the trees, silhouette like, with the solitary figure.
This is a small painting. 30x30cm. I used oil paint on prepared board.
Framed and ready to hang on the wall.
