I wanted to capture the quiet joy that arrives with the first signs of spring. In this still life, I gathered delicate pink blossoms inside a deep blue ceramic pitcher, allowing their vibrant colors to bloom against a soft, airy background. The scattered tulips in shades of yellow, red, and pink rest casually across the table, creating a sense of movement and spontaneity, as though they have just been freshly picked from the garden.

Through expressive brushstrokes and rich oil textures, I sought to celebrate the contrast between the bold blue vessel, the gentle pastel surroundings, and the lively blossoms. Light plays softly across the composition, creating an atmosphere of warmth, freshness, and renewal.

This painting is my invitation to pause and appreciate the simple beauty of nature. I hope it evokes the feeling of a bright spring morning—filled with color, hope, and the promise of new beginnings.
