Old town of Khashtarak Village, Ijevan, Armenia.
This original oil painting invites you to take a look into the hidden world of old Armenia. Before you is "A Secluded Corner of Khashtarak Village" in the Ijevan region. The scene captures a narrow, sun-drenched stepped path that climbs steeply past ancient stone houses. The old mill, nestled on the right side of the composition, completes the image of a place frozen in time.

I created this impressionist landscape with a focus on the tactile quality of every element. Utilizing the impasto technique, I applied paint in thick layers with both palette knife and brush to convey the roughness of the ancient walls and the unevenness of the stone steps. The vibrant, warm palette and the interplay of light create a sense of serene peace. This piece will serve as a warm accent in your interior, reminding you of the quiet beauty of rural life.
