SCHOONER BLOWN ASHORE, SIDMOUTH DEVON 1863
One of my traditional and historical oil paintings, the complete opposite of my contemporary marine paintings depicting a schooner blown ashore .
This is a stretch of coastline that I know very well and my former studio was located on the cliffs on the far left of this painting. Not particularly a well known or infamous area for shipwrecks but there have been enough to provide me with plenty of painting material.
This painting is offered for sale framed in a bespoke, hand finished Frinton frame, if you prefer to purchase unframed please message me prior to purchase as I will need to reduce the screen price (approximately by 10%).
