A world away from the stifling peculiarities of life.
‘A ramble through the void’ describes a woman and children wandering through an unyielding scene. The path ahead and the landscape’s scale are a formidable prospect, however, the trio present a fragile, yet stoic form.
It is a painting of better times and kindly memories. The fog in the foreground may describe a menace, an unknown future, however this is overcome by the clarity of the small tribe, in addition to the mountains and sky that overlook the scene.
