A large classical original English landscape realism oil painting is suitable as a focal point in a room. The panoramic, dramatic and iconic view across a Cotswold landscape and beyond to the distant Meon Hill. Sheep are grazing in the foreground. I visited this location on several occasions in order to capture the scene in suitable light and colours. The landscape is so vast and varied I knew the content had to be broken into areas of light and shade and the tree foliage similarly had to be a variety of colours. The painting will satisfy the most discerning collector. Oil paints on canvas panel.
