This painting was created from memory of the expansive and often deserted North Norfolk coastline. It is reminiscent of a solitary walk in the half light, that magical time before the night air sets in, when shadows create mysterious shapes and colours transform the landscape. I have painted this piece using oil paint, pastel and areas of rose gold leaf.
