As the title suggests, this piece, and others in a series, is inspired by long walks through the British landscape. In this case, through the Yorkshire Dales. The piece is painted with Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums for the highest ratings of light-fastness and permanence and fine sand, which is permanently affixed by the oil paint to the surface, giving texture to the foreground. The surface is Winsor and Newton acid-free and fully archival canvas panel.
