A woman plays a melodic lament on a piano. Her solo performance controls the mood of those listening, a sort of puppet-master. Painted on a fine textured, professionally stretched linen canvas, using Old Holland and Michael Harding artist's quality oils and mediums and finished with a light satin varnish.
