Oil on panel 35x50x1cm (13.8x19.7x0.4in) 2023, ready to hang.
This is a portrait of a beautiful girl which holds a secret: she is one of the three Gorgons, mythological characters who combined a female look with beasty details. I wanted to paint a portrait a little different from the standard, so the viewer can find a story in it. This story tells a contrast, which is both surreal and fantasy. The technique I used to paint “A Gorgon” is realistic, with wide use of blue, red and white colours. The artwork is painted on an MDF panel and ready to hang.
