Original artwork description
Two small saw residues of marble, in a nice quality. Only 5 cm thick. That's where the search begins.
They have become simple shapes. Partly textured with a small pointed chisel, partly sanded (matt). Marble is a material in which you can work beautifully with shadow and light. For example, by making a surface slightly concave (the sides) or convex. The crescent-shaped relief lies on one side and is recessed on the other. This creates a subtle shadow and light effect.
