Original artwork description:
This is a painting of Gimli the pug, "Sir Gimli" . It was commissioned as a Christmas gift for the owners of the dog. They sent me various photos to use as reference and then I added the Christmas background. I knew he would receive a number of gifts as he is the light of their lives.
This is done with mixed media on watercolor paper, then sprayed with protective U.V. coating.
