This is an interpretation of a photograph by Matthew Roberts, a photographer who photographs everyday life in South Wales.
I just loved the colours of the night in his photograph, the flat pastel colours contrast with the rich, fuller red of the telephone box and the warmer, steamy colours within.
I also loved how the person in the telephone box seems to be in some distress making this telephone call which seemed to contrast with the cool, indifferent calm outside the telephone box.
