After a week aboard a 40ft catamaran sailing around the northern tip of Sardinia, we made our way back on the last day to the marina to depart the island. It was a lazy day back...swimming in the morning, sailing along the coast, and a stop for a fresh mediterranean boat lunch. As we were running our last leg back to port, we overtook a sailboat with a family aboard. Two adults and a girl shaded in the cockpit, and upfront on the prow, sat a young boy dangling his legs over the side. The water moved like liquid glass. The reflections of the bow, the hull, and the boy's skin is reflected in the water. The "606" refers to the numbers on the side of the hull reflected in the water

Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 72" x 44" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting.
