Three discs of different sizes and colors protrude on three sides of a rectangular support with a light green background and a pale blue frame. They appear in a rectangular opening of the format, giving the illusion of extending below. This illusion is simply a magic trick, just as classical and figurative painting gave a certain illusion of reality.
