Original artwork description
This piece is made from carefully collected and arranged pieces of vintage map, charts and atlas. They are hand bonded onto wood then laser cut into 100's of dots. I spend time sorting and arranging to create this rainbow ombre. The dots are then assembled by colour and fixed in gradient composition.
Comprising of 324 map dots.
I make each one of these to order so each is unique.
The piece comes ready framed in this black box frame with a museum quality UV perspex glaze to protect the artwork from fade.
