Inspired by the Beatles song, Taxman.
Appearing in the artwork is a text taken from the song.
"Should five percent appear too small
Be thankful I don't take it all
'Cause I'm the taxman
Yeah, I'm the taxman".

This artwork employs a collage style, assembling various printed materials to create a layered composition. The image presents a house-like form, constructed from sections of printed paper in different colours. The colours are mainly bright, such as orange, red and black, and are superimposed on muted blues and greys, creating a graphic effect. Fragments of text are incorporated into the composition. Different motifs and geometric shapes are also visible, adding to the visual complexity of the work. The work looks like a contemporary assemblage in which found images and texts are mixed with a structured composition. The overall effect is one of visual juxtaposition and conceptual layering.
