Original artwork description
Following on from past Big Blue and Big Blue Horizon paintings. This work is the second in the 'Solaris' series dealing with ultra intense colour. The sky is deep Blue Ultramarine set off by strong orange to yellow corn, the overall effect coupled with the use of metallic green oils of the trees creates an intense shimmering across the painting as the eye makes its journey toward the horizon.
Painting mediates between clean flat washes of colour to heavy intense 'impasto' thick layers of paint.
Painted on very high quality thick cotton canvas and stretched over Gallery style Braced wooden stretcher frame.
Painting will come varnished and ready to hang with sealed in certificate to the rear and signed of course.
Please note edges of the work will be white.
