They asked me: Who is Desideria? Desideria is my defenceless self. The mustard colour disguised as red. A colour I’ve never been able to wear outside of my studio. That melting heart? It's time passing. The blue? It’s the day ending. The cake? The easy consolation that doesn't fill the voids. Desideria, then, is my confession: my greatest fear that, once everything has dissolved, the unfulfilled hunger will be the only thing left. Desideria is not her name, but the silent condition of anyone, concealed behind opulence.
