An original 3D painted collage made using traditional paper marbling techniques. I make marbled papers combining them with pre-coloured paper and then apply splashes of gold paint on the surface once it's dry.

The patterned paper is then pressed and cut into dots and assembled into this striking geometric composition.

Each dot is mounted raised to create a 3d shadow effect.

This piece is also available on a black background and white frame.

Materials used:

ink, acrylic, metallic paint
