“11,22” is an original oil on linen still life inspired by the still-life masters of the Dutch tradition and, simultaneously, by daily supermarket objects — eggs, fish, milk, bananas, asparagus, and broccoli. Guess why it is called 11,22!
The painting blends classical restraint and modern immediacy. Ideal for collectors of contemporary still-life paintings, those interested in the convergence of classical technique and modern subject, and interiors seeking art with subtle narrative and craftsmanship.

Artist Impressions:
This still-life was created in the years after I graduated from the Ilya Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. Within the walls of the Academy, as well as in the broad academic community, still lifes typically imitate the works of old masters, which means they are assembled from various old objects, plaster moulds and draperies. While working at home, I was thinking about a new still-life staging and tried to move away from the academic tradition as much as possible. At the same time, working on the staging of this still life, I looked through many of the Dutch still lifes. With these supermarket products, I wanted to achieve the same compositional harmony and expressiveness as the old Dutch masters.
Technical Information:
The artwork will be shipped directly from my artist's workshop, accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. I always take great care to ensure that my artworks arrive at customers in perfect condition and ship them with a tracking number.
I appreciate how personal and even intimate acquiring a fine art piece can be, so I am always happy to answer any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me—I am experienced with all technical details and always strive to support the delivery of artworks.
