Artwork description:

With π-K21, I wanted to work on the edge between reality and abstraction. The frame is stripped down to two essential planes — the shoreline and the sky — yet the blurred transitions make the boundary between them almost impossible to pin down.

The colour field is unusual: lilac, dusty mauve, and soft rose hues flow into each other like water over silk, with a quiet luminosity that changes subtly depending on the light in which the work is viewed. The darker, grounding tones in the foreground anchor the image, while the horizon breathes open space into the composition.

This is one of the most meditative pieces from my project "Oblivium", not because of stillness alone, but because of how the eye is drawn into the slow rhythm of the gradients. It is a seascape only if you want it to be — it can just as easily become a memory of light, or a fragment of a dream you can’t quite place.
