Biography
Creating artwork has always been an act that transports me elsewhere. It is an immediate feeling of power, satisfaction- sometimes frustration but it is always a feeling, always felt.
If I am struggling with anxiety or the dreaded Black Dog, art has always helped me out of there and further, pushed me to look at myself and my actions more harshly. I paint the natural world as that is what I know, you will see in my work that it is predominately UK Wildlife, I grew up in the UK countryside and come from a country based family. In truth, the countryside heals me and so I try and capture it.
