My name is Nina Elaine Thompson.
I am a self-taught artist, from South West Washington (United States).
I have been drawing for over thirty years. I started making art as a child to entertain myself and challenge myself. My primary mediums are colored pencils for drawings and acrylic paint for paintings. Inspiration for my artwork comes from the places and things I've experienced and how I take in the world around me. My artistic journey began when I was seven years old, starting out drawing cartoon characters. Encouragement from my Grandparents at that young age fueled the fire to continue with this passion. Since then, I have continued to develop my skills over the years, drawing all sorts of things. I began painting in 2012. In 2015 I began to make my art available to others. I am now working mostly in realism, making my living selling my original artwork. I've discovered Artfinder through Twitter. For a long time, I've admired the showcasing of artworks made available through Artfinder. After following on Twitter for several years, I've now become interested in joining up with Artfinder to sell my own original artwork.
