Fabio Accorrà (1984) is an Italian travel photographer.

Born in 1984, a life-long traveller, he approached photography in the 1990s developing his first rolls of film and using a Polaroid camera. Photography has managed to indelibly mark each of his journeys, from the confined landscapes of Lapland to the chaotic life of New York and Tokyo, from the sand of the desert to the power of Icelandic nature to the edge of the world of Greenland.

His publications and photographic exhibitions around Italy are numerous. Just to mention a few of the most important ones: in 2019 he published The Colors of Japan published by Erga, a photographic project recounting his trip to Japan, and in the same year he exhibited at the Consulate General of Japan a photo exhibition with an excerpt of the photographs from the book.

In 2020, success with the photo exhibition ‘The Colours of Japan’ at the Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art in Genoa. Juror at the Wiki Loves Monuments photography competition with Wikimedia Italia for the Abruzzo Region in the 2019 and 2020 editions. In May 2021, also due to the pandemic that keeps him from his long journeys, he publishes ‘I Colori di Genova’ (Erga Edizioni), a photographic book about the beauty of his beloved city. In June 2022, he published his third photographic book, ‘Venezia colori e parole del silenzio’ (Erga Edizioni), a photographic reportage recounting Venice as it had never been seen, deserted in the last lockdown.

In December 2023, he received the ‘Genoa Talent Award 2023’ from the Mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, at the proposal of the Genoa Talent Committee of the City of Genoa.
