About Elizabeth Moran
Biography
Welcome! I’m Liz Moran, a contemporary abstract artist exploring emotion, memory, and place through color, texture, and form. My work blends mixed media, bold color fields, and layered surfaces to create visual stories that invite contemplation and connection.
Based outside of Raleigh, N.C, I draw inspiration from the rhythms of urban environments, natural landscapes, and the quiet, in-between moments that shape how we experience the world. Each painting is an intuitive process—part exploration, part excavation—where I build and subtract layers until the piece feels alive with balance and tension.
I work primarily in acrylics, collage, and textured mediums on canvas and panel. My art has found homes with collectors, designers, and curators who value authenticity, atmosphere, and visual depth.
