A traumatic childhood and the death of loved ones forced me to come up with my own very bright but extremely sad world. It has a place for color-filled expression of feelings, regardless of whether I am happy or sad.
This exhibition makes me want to be closer. It's about wanting to learn to love myself and being able to trust people.
Biography
Hi!My name is Dima.I was born in Russia a small village in the Ulyanovsk region. At the age of 14, I am moved to the city of Ulyanovsk and entered the College of Culture and Art.
In 2016, I moved to Moscow. In 2022, graduated from the Department of Monumental and Decorative Painting at the Stroganov Moscow State Art Academy.
In work, I turn to the content of personality. I am engaged in the study of internal conflicts, personality disorders and self-identification. I work mainly works in the technique of painting (acrylic, oil, canvas).
Creativity is connected tied to the aesthetics of clowns and circus. All my characters are dressed in bright, awkward costumes. For me, this is a way to escape from an incomprehensible and chaotic reality into the world of my own fantasies, in which there are no rules invented by society and social stigmatization. There I manages a fictional reality, albeit with a touch of sadness.
