Biography
Graduated from Illinois State University with a BA in art and education. Taught high school outside Chicago for 5 years and then proceeded to get interested in pottery. Studied with renowned potters Charles Counts, Rising Fawn, Georgia and English pottery Michael Cardew. Took workshops from John Glick famous American potter. Pottery because too rigorous and started to paint once again. Studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Penland, and Arrowmont, Gatlinburg, Tn. Attdended UCLA. Los Angeles, California, withor Zazzle which is a site where you make your own t shirts using the designs posted.

My art reflects my interest in pottery which emphasis is shape and design. I create some pieces which are totally abstract, some pieces with an abstract background and realistic flowers, or flowers that are realistic with a background designed with pen and ink that is detailed and abstract.
