My name is Carlos Aberto Rizzotti. I was born in 1963 in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil, and I am a visual artist dedicated to abstract painting.
My artistic journey began in the design sector, which gave me a solid foundation in terms of composition and understanding the interplay between light, color and form, but over time, I felt the need for something more.
In design, my work had a clear purpose and a specific target audience. Each project was a solution to a problem, a balance between aesthetics and functionality. However, I realized that my creative expression was confined by these limitations. It was then that I decided to delve into painting, where I found a much broader space to explore and expand my artistic vision.
Abstract painting allows me to cross the boundaries of comprehensibility. Abstraction gives me the freedom to express emotions and thoughts in a pure and visceral way. Each work is a deep and intuitive journey, where shapes, colors and textures interact in a way that creates a direct connection with the unconscious.
This artistic freedom is what motivates and inspires me daily.
