  • Biography
Hi all. I paint passionate, abstract, spiritual paintings influenced by the mysticism of my home country Iceland. I'm particularly fascinated by texture and the exiting contrast found in the landscape of home. I layer paint with crushed lava rocks from Iceland, blossoming salt crystals and mix with oil and various mediums to achieve 3d affect. Each painting is unique one of piece. It represents a thought, a moment in my life and the most incredible subconscious lessons have been learned through painting. I meditate every time before I paint to get into that flow state. I then start my work not knowing what the end result will be like but I'm guided with crystal clear clarity (and a smile). There is always a positive message in the end of each painting that sometimes doesn't become clear until a day or two it's finished. Its such a wonderful feeling being in the studio and feeling like I'm been of service and painting in such a freeing and happy way.
