  • Biography
    I've been drawing ever since I can remember. My kindergarten teacher and my babysitter were very good at drawing and I remember staring at their drawings and trying to replicate them. That has been my first motivational drive. I've always been obsessed with the representation of reality and, as I was growing up, I chose to represent the reality through the perspective of people. Human beings and their psychology are always the focus of my artworks, even when they are not visible. My interest in communication and facial expressions has influenced the choice of my degree course in Clinical Psychology and constantly inspires my work. I use mainly coloured pencils and ink pen on paper. Recently I decided to dedicate myself to play with the mind of the art viewer, experimenting with the breakdown of portraits in order to represent mental illness. I did various collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad (UK, France and Germany) and in 2020 I had the chance to present my first solo exhibition named "In-sanità Mentale" at Galleria la Fonderia in Florence. I decided not to use my real name and not to show my face, 'cause I want people to focus on my artworks, without the interference of my figure.
