Sometimes you just want to sit in silence, embroider and not rush anywhere. This work is about such a state. When everything in the room is in its place: the light falls softly from the window, the flowers smell, the cat purrs nearby, and there is peace in the soul.
I painted this scene with a feeling of warmth and comfort, as if you were returning to your childhood or to your grandmother in the village. The girl here seems to be immersed in her thoughts, in her occupation, and the world around her stops rushing.
I wanted the viewer to feel this moment of silence, when nothing happens - but this is exactly what happiness is.
