The February mornings were cold with sharp overnight frosts and clear skies. The result was a stunning series of brilliant pink skies that greeted me as the curtains were opened. Pink sky pink is quite hard to capture as it is neither really pink or orange but hovers somewhere in between. A simple red & white mix will not do as it makes a too obvious pink which is lacking the glorious zing of a pink sky. I hope this painting goes a little way towards capturing the glowing colour of a cold winter morning.
Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground presented ready to hang with text edges left and right signed on right edge, dated signed and titled on the reverse. Shipped in mostly recycled materials sent with a track and trace identity
