Artwork description:

Much of a building's character comes from the external surface which divides the worlds of 'outside' and 'inside'. Particularly for modern buildings, this surface is often dominated by windows. On its own, each pane of glass may be unremarkable, yet, like a mosaic, the overall effect created by the arrangement of the many component parts can be arresting; repeating patterns arise from them, ranging from straight verticals, horizontals and diagonals to smooth, sweeping curves and spirals. Contrasts abound, too, at the interface with their surroundings, where the rigid regularity of glass and steel meets the unpredictability and ever-changing nature of reflections which change minute-by-minute, and as the patterns of different structures clash or harmonise with each other.

Limited edition (25) digital Giclée print on archival paper.

Please let me know if you would like this artwork printed to a different size, or framed. Shipping framed prints outside the UK is expensive, though; I'm happy to do it but it can be better value for you to get it framed at your end.
