I paint flowers as a visual metaphor for fragility and resilience. A flower is a brief flash of beauty - it appears for a short time, but manages to evoke strong emotions, stop time, make us take a closer look. In this I see a parallel with the inner state of a person - with our fleeting joys, feelings and dreams, which, like petals, can be pure, wounded, but alive.
