Title: What If All Were True

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions: 36" x 48"
Series: Of and Being
Year: 2025

Description:
What If All Were True is an abstract exploration of softness and possibility — where color becomes both structure and question. Layers of pale greens, warm ochres, muted grays, and delicate pinks move across the surface like fleeting thoughts made visible. As I painted, I followed the quiet rhythm of intuition, allowing the brush to reveal what needed to surface without forcing form or meaning.

This piece belongs to my ongoing Of & Being series, a body of work that considers presence, fragility, and emotional resonance through abstraction. Here, the gestures are light but intentional, a balance between stillness and motion. For me, this painting holds a sense of quiet expansion — a moment of openness to all that could be true, seen, or felt.

Artist Statement:
I create intuitively, allowing movement and memory to guide the work. My paintings are less about representation and more about perception — a reflection of the inner landscapes we move through every day. I see abstraction as a form of honesty, where color, texture, and gesture become a language of emotional truth.
