Original artwork description:

This oil painting of Watchet Harbour in Somerset captures the dazzling rays of light as they flow between the ephemeral clouds, painted in a palette of calming pastel shades, and reflecting back off of the wet ripples of sand at low tide, on a fresh, winter's day. Soft brush strokes emanating from the centre, allow your eyes to peacefully wander about the painting, from the light over the headland at North Hill in the distance.

Materials used:

Hardwood board, primed with gesso, painted with oils and sealed with a satin varnish.
