Carmel Beach, with its pristine white sand, is one of the most scenic beaches in this area.
It is a nice place to stretch out on a blanket and read, or just walk along the water’s edge. In my case, it is an ideal place to set-up my easel and paint. I love watching the waves come ashore. I am attracted to the view of wind-blown cypresses adorning the beach, and the beautiful colors in the shadows, that they cast on the sand.
