Original artwork description
I always thought Mallorca is an overdeveloped tourist island. Didn’t expect I would fall in love with it in the deep winter of a pandemic. The beaches were so deserted that we felt like walking into a zombie movie. But I guess I love this emptiness. There was barely any tourist. Walking in the villages in the morning when they are slowly waking up, I can only hear birds chirping, dogs barking, roosters crowing. The smoke of locals burning woods covered the valley full of citrus trees with a light blue mist. Picture perfect! I think I can totally stay here for a month just to enjoy and paint 😊
