Original artwork description:
This piece was inspired by one of my regular hiking spots. Looking down toward the road, I noticed a line of cars, and it sparked the idea to place a cowboy figure on the peak, gazing out over the traffic. I wanted to contrast the old with the new and leave room for the viewer to imagine the rest of the story.
