"Toni, 41

Croatia.
Too much red wine,
not enough brains.

He slips on the kids’
water wings,
waddles into the sea
up to his neck.

“When the shit’s up to your neck,
don’t hang your head.”
he remembers,
grins,
pisses in the water,
feels like a philosopher for a second,
really just a dumbass.

Then back to the beach,
cracks open another jug of table wine,
drinks.
Everything else
is already shot to hell."
