The Tranquility of Light, has a peaceful, serene quality that I have achieved by using a harmonious blend of blue and mauve hues to create a tranquil atmosphere. The focal point being a glorious warm light filled sunset of magenta, and gold. The warm light bathes the sandy shore and finally the rugged, rocky coastline. Both brush and palette knife have been used have been used in this piece.
To create this series (Coastal) I draw on past experiences and memories of the Whitsunday Islands to portray an uplifting sense of wellbeing. This piece would be ideally suited for hanging in the home or corporate suite,
