“The Return of Odysseus” is a collage painting in which myth intertwines with a fragmented, ambiguous modern sensibility. The composition is formed by seven female figures—each beautiful in her own unique way, yet none perfect. Charm is interwoven here with imperfection, subtlety with flaw, the ideal with fracture. The painting alludes to Odysseus’s return and to the women who, along his journey, were at once temptation, trial, and a reflection of his longing for home. In this collage, each female figure is not only a remembrance of the hero’s encounters but also a symbol of the choices on which his fate depended. The collage is made of pieces of printed paper glued to the canvas and covered with layers of paint and glossy structural gel
