Original artwork description:

Inspired by floral and tie-dye imagery, as well as by the psychedelic song that shares its name, this vibrant and dynamic abstract piece is composed of four separate square panels arranged to form a larger unified composition. Each panel explodes with a fiery palette of reds, oranges, and purples, creating a sense of intense energy radiating from a central, darker area in each square.

The texture is rich and layered, with textural elements that add depth and complexity. Wispy, lighter-colored fibers, crisscross the surface, adding a sense of movement and further visual interest. These lighter lines seem to burst outwards from the center alongside the bolder color fields.

The overall effect is one of a powerful, almost explosive force captured in static form. The repetition of the central radiating pattern in each of the four panels creates a cohesive rhythm across the entire artwork, while subtle variations within each square keep it visually engaging. It evokes a feeling of warmth, passion, and perhaps even a touch of the chaotic beauty found in natural phenomena like flames or a vibrant nebula.

Materials used:

Fine Art Papers; Stretched Canvas Panels; Mod Podge; Wood
