"The Look" is an original oil portrait of a handsome man in strong light, where flowing brushwork meets sculptural form. I focused on the glow of skin, the sensuality of paint, and a certain mystery in his expression. I approached this piece as a spontaneous study with loose, tactile strokes that preserve the energy of first marks.
